Kazuhide Takahama

Born in Japan in 1930. In 1957 he designed the Japanese stand at the XI Triennial in Milan where he got to know Dino Gavina, marking the start of a prolific working relationship and lasting friendship. He relocated to Italy and was commissioned by numerous Italian design houses, both for residential and public projects. Amongst these were the facade and the VIP lounge at Guglielmo Marconi Airport and the shelters at Bologna's bus stops. He died in Bologna aged 80.
